Biography:

Amanda Azadi was born and raised in Southern California. However, she settled in Los Angeles, working as a Fashion Model and Fashion Designer in 2008. Amanda fell in love with Dance, Yoga, and Pilates at an early age and has always loved the practice of linking movement to music and breath. "Pilates and Yoga have been a part of my life for over 20 years. And my approach has helped me grow stronger, flexible, and fearless, both on and off the mat. In addition, Yoga and Pilates inspire me to live each moment more mindfully. I completed my 200-hour training with the Long Beach School of Yoga. In addition, 300-hour advanced training with YogaWorks International.

Finally, with a certification in Pilates from the National Pilates Certification Program.

And Dance from Debbie Allen Dance Academy, Los Angeles. Additionally, I have completed three other leadership, sound therapy, Aerial Yoga and Trapeze Art, and meditation training. Lastly, a certification in Nutrition and Culinary Arts. I will always be a practice student and am deeply grateful for my mentors' loving wisdom with me.

In my class, I enjoy combining creative and unique sequencing, a spirit of fun and playfulness, and a hefty dose of inspiration to help you deepen your practice. I seek to help others thrive in life by nurturing body, mind, and soul with Pilates and Yoga. I hope you step off the reformer or off your mat feeling refreshed, nourished, and balanced. My favorite exercise for Pilates is the Leg Circles, Corkscrew, and the Inverted-Splits on the Cadillac. And as for the Yoga poses are pigeon, dancer, and tree pose."

Philosophy:

In a society of immediate gratification, I help my clients and students set up for success by focusing on developing healthy habits through movement and diets and setting up a proper foundation to generate long-term, lasting, positive results in their bodies and mind. When I see my clients'/students' results, I am proud of their accomplishments. And therefore, I want to do more for my clients and students because I care and am committed to reaching their personal goals, making me a better teacher and a student in their health, fitness, and wellness development.

I will always be a "Student" in my client's health by constantly learning and researching the latest exercises, attending workshops, home practice, journaling, getting certified in nutrition, adding more modalities of other types of fitness, and being in tune with the present health trend. So, I can be a better instructor to my clients and myself by setting attainable goals for myself; as I once was told by my mentor, "You can't give away what you haven't got." And "You are your client." So, I teach by setting and living as an example.
